Deciding which dance moves to learn can be a daunting prospect. If you have reached a point
in your life where you realize that you always wanted to learn to dance or have been encouraged to
take up dance for exercise its hard to know where to start.
The easiest choice for most people is to take up ballroom dancing. This, of course, is especially since
Strictly Come Dancing made its way into our mainstream culture and got everyone rushing to the
nearest local dancing school.
However whilst mainly trying to avoid your partner’s feet, this could turn out to be a fairly every-day
experience. If you were looking for dance moves to learn which would give you more of a
sense of animation and exhilaration, you may feel that you had been ill advised to take up ballroom as
your diversion of choice.
If you were looking for authentic reproduction of days-gone-by when evenings were spent in the
clutches of a young man who would literally sweep you off your feet, you would need to persist past
the cumbersome quasi work-out with a clumsy mate stage and progress to entering amateur
competition.

After all, this is the world of swinging, swaying and spectacular dance moves we get to see on TV and is
where we hoped to disappear to when joining the local dance school. If you make it this far, your
